........and I went to Borders and bought this which should come in useful in adapting patterns to different sizes.

Birmingham
Steven started back to school today, so I treated myself to a day out, in Birmingham (about as exciting as it gets for me these days!) Spent the morning at the library doing some family history research then walked down to the Bullring. The old Bull was getting another clean-up, someone had stuck a large sticker on his nose and the glue was proving hard to remove.

That's a really useful book. Personally, I think it's better that "1000 Sweaters" which gives lots of different designs but only caters for DK!
